Sairus is described as a barrel-chested man wearing robes of purple-and-gold shadesilk, rather than the traditional purple-and-white of the Wei clan. He has a silver mane of hair.

Sairus is the ideal sacred artist to the members of the Wei Clan, one who is fixated entirely on his path, seeking power to the exclusion of all else. He leaves all clan needs in the hands of the other Elder’s unless they allow him to demonstrate or grow his own power, which represents a significant fraction of the Wei Clan’s strength. He believes that a sacred artist should never be so humble as to refuse what they have earned.

The Wei Patriarch came out of seclusion to attend the Seven Year Festival with his grandson, [[Wei Jin Amon]]. After watching an Unsouled beat the Foundation level children caused the Four Schools to take offense, Sairus attempted to mitigate the problem by preventing Lindon from competing in the exhibition match. When Lindon refused his offer to remove himself from the match in exchange for an unspecified promise to repay the debt, he sought to force the issue. Rather than pitting Lindon against a Copper in the exhibition match, Lindon’s opponent was set to be a much more powerful Wei Jin Amon, in the hopes that Lindon would surrender.

Before Sairus could leave the stage for the match, the sky was darkened by the arrival of [[Li Markuth]], whose strength was so apparent that even the Wei Clan Patriarch appeared to bow before him. Despite his talents in illusions, Sairus was unable to battle against Li Markuth and died in a short fight.

After the actions of [[Suriel]] reversed this fate, Sairus was forced to watch as Lindon cheated in the match, humiliating his grandson in order to take the coveted position at [[Heaven’s Glory School]].

==Appearance==
Wei Mon Keth is a large, intimidating man, described as “looming like a mountain” over his son and appearing like a “statue of an ancient guardian.”
==Personality==
Keth, like most members of the Wei clan, follows their words, “honor by any means.” When his family was faced with shame and dishonor due to the actions of his son, he sought to redirect that dishonor on the Shi family through a plot. He is a proud man, and reacts with anger in the face of embarrassment.
==Biography==
After the actions of his son, [[Wei Mon Teris]] placed [[Wei Shi Lindon]] at risk of death by the hands of the remnant of an Ancestral Orus Tree, Teris was set to receive punishment in the form of public lashings. Keth, having already dealt his own punishment for his son’s cowardice, turned his mind to lessening the dishonor of his family through a plot to shame the Shi family by engineering a duel between his daughter [[Wei Mon Eri]] and Lindon. His gambit would have likely been shut down by the First Elder were it not for [[Wei Shi Jaran]] rising to the bait.

On the day of the duel, Lindon proposed to fight Keth rather than Eri. By suggesting this option in a way that appeared to allow both Mon and Wei families to maintain their honor, at the cost of Lindon’s personal humiliation, Keth agreed to an exchange of blows, with Lindon to strike first.

Though Lindon violated the rules of their duel by striking twice with the Empty Palm technique and surrendered the loss accordingly, Keth still reacted angrily to the humiliation of losing his footing to the punches of an Unsouled child. At the taunting of Shi Jaran, he moved as though to strike, before being subdued by the First Elder and placed in isolation as punishment.

When attempting to strike down Wei Shi Jaran after his duel with Lindon he condensed madra around his hand in the form of spinning balls of foxfire, the traditional technique of Wei Strikers. During the events of Unsouled, Wei Mon Eri was a young Foundation level artist. In an attempt to shift shame and weakness off of their family after her brother abandoned Lindon to a remnant, Eri's father encouraged her to challenge Lindon to a duel of honor, knowing that both victory or defeat would mean shame for the Wei family. She appeared enthusiastic about the duel, and was disappointed when Lindon asked to be allowed to fight her father instead.

At some point before [[Bloodline]] she was accepted by the [[Golden Sword School]] and presumably evacuated Sacred Valley with them.
