Horizon then manifests, having connected to Raion, and noticed he was fighting. Upon hearing the recording, Varic triggers the ship's alarm. He calls for them to go into Subspace as fast as possible to reach Raion. The Governor plans to give him the edited footage, but Varic has already obtained the full copy through his own means. He watches the footage in silence, while the Governor tries to justify the situation. Over the tense silence, storm clouds begin to roll above them, and the Governor finally calls the challenge over and to continue the discussion inside. Varic instead declares the challenge must continue, as he is also a member of the ''The Last Horizon'' and could pick up where Raion left off. He challenges the first Senator, and after some provoking, Albedon Pegarthus accepts his challenge. The Governor and Ryzer head back to the observation room to watch the fight. Immediately after the round begins, Albedon is defeated by a laser of water.
