Tanner is a human man with a wide-brimmed hat, cocky grin, and pistols strapped to every possible location on his body. He is a gun for hire, and the self proclaimed best pilot in the galaxy. He also has a moderate Aether Technician's affinity for starships, which stablizes, speeds up, and makes Subspace drives use less fuel. The two were good friends, and Varic initially wanted to hire Tanner Hall as the Pilot of ''The Last Horizon''.<br />
