Mistress of the Mists was a deleted scene from Of Darkness and Dawn released through Will's mailing list on July 1, 2016. It takes place 2000 years before the events of ODAD and features a Consultant guild head, then called the Mistress of the Mists. It describes the early history of the Consultants' leadership system as well as their role in Elder politics through a meeting with a representative of Othaghor.
