The Emperor was the most powerful Reader on Asylum. He was born a slave in the pits of Nakothi but escaped. He then finds Ach’magut who calls him a deviation. He learns about reading and starts a Rebellion that later overthrows the rule of the Elders. He then was the Emperor of Asylum for ca.1000 years until his untimely death by Sera. He has used the pseudonym of Sadesthenes, a self-educated son of a wine merchant to critisise his own totalitarian rule.
Abilities
He is the most powerful reader of Asylum. He doesn't have a soulbound artifact. He used the heart of Nakothi to extend his lifespan.
His intend is extremly powerful: He once used a knife the smear butter on bread. That knife was used to kill dozens. A Key he touched once can open any locks.
