President Telappen Vashei was a past president of the Galactic Union. She was seen as a great President, establishing new Subspace routes, improving relationships with the Karoshans, and kept the Corporations in line. However, Vashei was also rumored to be engineering and resolving conflicts to expand her own influence, and in the end she was assassinated by Omal "Omega" Escalon[1].
