Fathom is Iteration 119. Fathom is the lynchpin of Sector Eleven, in the sense that it the greatest population and hence the most stable connection to the Way, and so it would have to be destroyed before any of the other Iterations in the Sector could be seriously damaged.[1]

Fathom is the site of a huge battle between the full Court of Seven and the Vroshir.[2] The Court successfully defends the Iteration from the Vroshir attack, but Suriel is forced to allow the Mad King to escape to attack Cradle.[1]
