The first chapter of House of Blades from Indirial's perspective.

Indirial visited the Hanging Tree in Latari Forest. Korr called his attention to the Asphodel and Naraka Enoshan travelers attacking Simon and his family. He intended to wait and ambush them but decided to attack once he noticed Simon. He killed the Enoshans with little difficulty and then spoke to Simon, telling him to take care of his mother.
