- Plot Summary
One year ago, Starhammer is rescuing the damaged Halcyon Days when he suddenly receives a message from the Priest of Night, a prisoner of the Advocates. The Priest of Night is taunting Starhammer, describing how he has destroyed Starhammer's home. The message is suddenly interrupted by an unknown wizard, who had saved the planet and Starhammer's wife, Leilari. The Priest of Night is then killed by a summoned rabbit. Leilari and Starhammer discuss their relief and gratitude to the wizard.

- Plot Summary
Queen Shyrax is on her way to The Last Horizon, and Varic and Horizon prepare to recruit her. The Last Horizon is still damaged from the battle with the Iron King, so they plan to wait until Shyrax nears. As they are in the Dornoth system, they are surrounded by Lichborn ships. Varic has Horizon teleport Benri Vallenar onto Dornoth Four, while they discuss how to meet Shyrax. They decided that Sola and Raion will be teleported to Shyrax and make way for Varic, while Omega stays in the vault.

- Plot Summary
Starhammer is in Subspace and regrets not reaching Mell. His Evolution Engine starts up. Varic and Shyrax senses that. Mell is somewhat distraught and suspicious how Varic knows so much about Starhammer and herself. Varic tells here about the ritual, they have a discussion about it and Varic tries to give Mell the possiblity of going away but Horizon teleports them befor Mell can speak. On the bridge are the crew and three defeated Advocates.

- Plot Summary
Mell is intrested in Horizon, Horizon shows of. Raidon tells how they defeted the Advocates that attacked Karoshans. The Advocated are Shocklight, Mellow Moon, Lemon. They attaced first, Varic creates seals that will seal of their Aethertech if they speak of Horizon or her crew. They will pretend only Shyrax and her fleet are there. Mell is exploring the ship
Chapter 17

- Plot Summary
They come to the ritual chamber. They talk about the oaths of the crew. Mell is at first shy and makes a bad impression on other crew. Her goal is to gather all xenos devices.

They define the phrasing of Mells goal. When finished Varic wants out of Advocate controlled space. Horizon intejects that her "brother" the xenos collony was rumored to be. A moon that vanished 1000years ago. Mell is shown the damage of Horizon. is very upset about the damage big enough to fit starships in.
Chapter 19

- Plot Summary
In live sixth Mell and Varic watch Starhammer VI: son of Starhammer. He tells her that he is a Vallenar and Mell tells him that she was grown in a lab of Stellar Synthesis Lab from the DNA of four talented Aethertechicans. While she was young she was looked in a small room for punishment, when she grew up she said stop but once in a transfer she was forgotten in a tight space for a night. As revenge she messed with their inventory lists, so that they got into debt and had to close. Since then she didn't allow them to reestablish. She confessed that she made Starhammer so that there would be someone that would never forget her.

Sola is in Horizons, weapon inventory. She is unsure what to upgrade. Varic comes into room, they talk about their fear. Shyrax lookes over armor and declares improving what is there will become her proof of Mastery as an Aethertechnican
