Bloodforged Iron body
The Bloodforged Iron body, also referred to as the Sandviper Iron body, is the Iron body used by members of the Sandviper sect in the Desolate Wilds, as well as Wei Shi Lindon. At the cost of madra, it accelerates the body's natural ability to restore and protect itself.[1] This does not extend to regrowing body parts.[2]
It is attained by taking sandviper venom into your bloodstream, then swallowing the beast's blood to slow down the movement of its poison throughout the body. The sacred artist guides it using their madra, burning new channels for their spirit to follow.[1] Most members of the Sandviper sect receive only a drop or two of venom and the accompanying blood on advancing to Iron; the more venom and blood cycled, the more pronounced its effects become later on.[3] In the case of Lindon, he received five full beasts' worth of bites, his Iron body is of a far higher quality than that of regular Sandvipers.[1]
