During the debate about who will eat the Orus fruit, Lindon asks his parents if either will advance to Jade, and both are ashamed that they will not. The first time he told his son that he was proud of him, was after a duel with Wei Mon Keth, where Lindon cheated but still won. Jaran encouraged his son to seek a reward if he did well at the 7-Year Festival, and was proud that he acquitted himself well.
