The Path of the Hollow King is the Path that Eithan Arelius follows.[1] Its only madra aspect is pure, and it specifically emphasizies the Seven Principles property of pure madra called Emptiness.[2]

Techniques

Striker

  • Hollow King's Mantle: Projects a whirlpool of tightly packed madra, which can be used to intercept and redirect techniques back at the attacker.[1]
  • Hollow King's Spear (or Hollow Spear): A spear made of condensed pure madra designed to stab a hole through madra-based defenses.[1] At higher levels, it conducts willpower and can destroy the souls of lesser artists,[3] and eventually takes on the form of an actual spear rather than just a beam of madra.[4]
  • Madra Pulse: An omni-directional pulse of pure madra that floods the area to wipe out or disrupt enemy techniques.
  • Madra Bullet: A highly condensed ball or stream of madra enhanced by soulfire, is capable of destroying techniques, damaging channels, and shattering cores.

Enforcer

Since there is no such thing as pure aura, this Path does not have any Ruler techniques.[6]

Cycling Techniques

  • Heaven and Earth Purification Wheel: This cycling technique focuses exclusively on helping the practitioner build up madra capacity over long periods of time,[7] to the point that it is useless for actually replenishing madra.[8] Without this technique Eithan's Path would be impossible, as almost all of his techniques require copious amounts of power to function as they do.

  • Raindrop Iron body (also see Iron body): Although not necessarily integral to the Path, it has incredible synergy with the Arelius bloodline senses. The Raindrop body grants incredible reaction speed; as Eithan phrases it, he was born with "eyes faster than his hands", and this body allows him to take advantage of his senses.[9]
