Monarch (Advancement)

Monarch is the highest level of advancement the sacred artist can obtain without ascending from the iteration. To advance to Monarch, a Sacred Artist can either become a sage and fuse with their remnant or become a herald and gain an icon. Though the power level between Monarchs and heralds or sages are not verified, one Monarch is equal to at least four Heralds and four Sages combined( the Eight-Man Empire, which operates as a functional monarch.)

There are currently six known living Monarchs:

• Northstrider
• Akura Malice
• Emriss Silentborn
• Reigan Shen
• The Eight-Man Empire — not a Monarch. All eight warriors are Sages and Heralds.
• Sha Miara

And three deceased ones:

• Tiberian Arelius
• Sha Leiala
• Seshethkunaaz
